Earle D. is drinking a Dark Red IPA by Six String Brewing Company at Tapestry Bar
Solid IPA bitterness all the way through. Some nice caramel malty notes in the background.
Purchased at Tapestry Bar
Earle D. is drinking The Gatherer (2018) by Stone & Wood at Tapestry Bar
Not much aroma. Good sour/tartness up front with subtle fruit in the aftertaste. Much more enjoyable than most other current American wheat
Earle D. is drinking a Grandfather by Ballistic Beer at Tapestry Bar
Good oak on nose. Rich malty with balancing bitterness. Good oak in the finish.
Earle D. is drinking a Full Boar Scotch Ale by Devil's Canyon Brewing Co.
Malty rich flavour with a touch of peat. Sweet malt but a surprisingly dry finish.

Earle D. is drinking a Tartastic by New Belgium Brewing Company
Refreshing but would have liked more sourness. A bit more like s gose than a berlinner.
Earle D. is drinking a Noisy Minor Butterfinger by Fortitude Brewing Company at Tapestry Bar
Moderate tropical fruit. Solid bitterness which cuts through the fruitinesz of the hops and prevents it from being sickly.
Earle D. is drinking a Daytona by Slipstream Brewing Company at Tapestry Bar
Moderate hop aroma. Grapefruit flavour, soft malt taste but with enough bitterness to avoid the blandness of other examples of the style.
Earle D. is drinking a Dry Hopped Wizz Fizz by Mash Brewing at Tapestry Bar
Tart and sour. A touch of bitterness. Slight fruit from the hops. Sherbert like the name.
Earle D. is drinking a Christmas Ale by Red Hill Brewery at Tapestry Bar
Good malt and esters. Noticeable spice, maybe a bit much for my taste but it is a Christmas ale after all.
Earle D. is drinking an Amber Ale by Killer Sprocket at Tapestry Bar
Good malty amber. Definitely not as hop focussed as most current American red ales.
Earle D. is drinking a #016 by Exit Brewing at Tapestry Bar
Great rich malty flavour and aroma, with enough bitterness to balance. Just a pot at lunch though at 7.5%
Earle D. is drinking a Fire Falcon by Little Creatures Brewing at Tapestry Bar
Hops upfront. Citrus & pine as promised. Not enough malt to back it up even for an American amber/red. Not really a winter red.
Earle D. is drinking a Best Extra Stout by Coopers at Black Cat Brewhouse
Roasty, malty, smooth. Good solid stout.
Earle D. is drinking a Franziskaner Weissbier Dunkel by Spaten-Franziskaner-Löwenbräu-Gruppe at Black Cat Brewhouse
Slight mocha with mild banana and clove. Carbonation on the low side. Goes alright with waffles though.
Earle D. is drinking a Stone Beer by Stone & Wood at Black Cat Brewhouse
Slight touch of molasses on the nose. Beautiful rich malty flavour. Less roasty than prior year's releases but still great.
