Hops upfront. Citrus & pine as promised. Not enough malt to back it up even for an American amber/red. Not really a winter red.

Slight mocha with mild banana and clove. Carbonation on the low side. Goes alright with waffles though.

Slight touch of molasses on the nose. Beautiful rich malty flavour. Less roasty than prior year's releases but still great.

Moderate bitterness balancing out some good mslt flavours. Head dissapates quickly. Smooth flavour with some toasty/nutty undertones.

Cross between a stout and a red ale. Slightly less focus on the roast with a bit more caramel malt sweetness. Dry finish which is to style
Big coffee hit with maybe a touch of aniseed.
