Cigar City Brewing by Good Gourd

Drew H. is drinking a Good Gourd by Cigar City Brewing at DBR’s Bourbon-Barreled Beer Basement and Hops-travaganza

Boot worthy yam-tastic beer with mild spice/brown sugar w/o reliance on clove and too much nutmeg. One of my fav seasonales. Wheel of Styles (Level 6) Earned the Wheel of Styles (Level 6) badge!

Captain Lawrence Brewing Company by Barrel Select Golden Sour

Drew H. is drinking a Barrel Select Golden Sour by Captain Lawrence Brewing Company at DBR’s Bourbon-Barreled Beer Basement and Hops-travaganza

Simple sour that lacks bite, but has mild fruit, lustily sweetened body, and finishes clean touch of acid and oaky vanilla. Solid sour

Molly Pitcher Brewing Company (Carlisle, Penna) by Peanut Butter Porter

Drew H. is drinking a Peanut Butter Porter by Molly Pitcher Brewing Company (Carlisle, Penna)

Dusty, intense peanut, mild malty body with hints of cocoa. Dry and easy drinking enough.

Weyerbacher Brewing Company by Insanity (Dad's Hat Vermouth Barrel)

Drew H. is drinking an Insanity (Dad's Hat Vermouth Barrel) by Weyerbacher Brewing Company

Dates, plum, wood, sweet malty vanilla and bourbon. Astrigent note lost quickly in malty vanilla goodness. Insanity, but better

Gigantic Brewing Company by Slip Into Darkness

Drew H. is drinking a Slip Into Darkness by Gigantic Brewing Company at Funck's Restaurant

Brown malt, cocoa sweetness into roasty ash pit. Dry, but solid Schwartz.

Allagash Brewing Company by James Bean (2016)

Drew H. is drinking a James Bean (2016) by Allagash Brewing Company

Coffee, vanilla wood nose, perfect carb, yeast to creamy coffee, fruity tripel mid, dry, fuzzy tongue fin. All parts in harmony. Nicely done

St. Boniface Craft Brewing Co. by Paideia Pale Ale

Drew H. is drinking a Paideia Pale Ale by St. Boniface Craft Brewing Co.

Made better on cask, much like Nugget Nectar. Lite body, mold fruity pebbles and a sneaky bitter fin. Wheel of Styles (Level 5) Earned the Wheel of Styles (Level 5) badge!

Nebraska Brewing Company by Apricot au Poivre Saison

Drew H. is drinking an Apricot au Poivre Saison by Nebraska Brewing Company at Bulls Head Public House

Slightly acidic, earthy apricot that drinks pleasantly. Barrel hangs back to the point I forgot it was. Could be funkier, handles fruit well

Beachwood Brewing by Tovarish (2015)

Drew H. is drinking a Tovarish (2015) by Beachwood Brewing at DBR’s Bourbon-Barreled Beer Basement and Hops-travaganza

Huge creamy coffee nose, roast, touch of acrid, med chewey body, tangy plum, ashy black, warming, bitter fin. Sweet, but not sticky. Nice

SØLE Artisan Ales by Kushy Clouds

Drew H. is drinking a Kushy Clouds by SØLE Artisan Ales at DBR’s Bourbon-Barreled Beer Basement and Hops-travaganza

Bitter lemon and dill, slightly sour/low ph flavor that is off putting. Not sure if it's the batch or the intention, but really not a fan.

Lost Nation Brewing by Mosaic IPA

Drew H. is drinking a Mosaic IPA by Lost Nation Brewing at DBR’s Bourbon-Barreled Beer Basement and Hops-travaganza

Holy dry, bready light body IPA. Weedy grain body dominates with a drop of sugary peach. Not the best mosaic feature, but a lovely NE IPA.

Deschutes Brewery by Black Butte XXVIII

Drew H. is drinking a Black Butte XXVIII by Deschutes Brewery at Perry Street Cellar

Delicious, creamy full cocoa roast of butte w/ mild oaky bourbon and stronger scotch. Lite orange peel keeps it lively. A warm sipper. Nice!

Victory Brewing Company by Blackboard Series (no. 03) Berliner Weisse w/ Elderflower

Drew H. is drinking a Blackboard Series (no. 03) Berliner Weisse w/ Elderflower by Victory Brewing Company

Mild salty/sour, sweet wheat, hint of elderflower. Berliner for those that don't drink sours, but drinkable/refreshing.

Columbia Kettle Works by Russian Imperial Stout (aged In Buffalo Trace Barrels)

Drew H. is drinking a Russian Imperial Stout (aged In Buffalo Trace Barrels) by Columbia Kettle Works at Columbia Kettle Works

Roast, nuttiness, bittersweet choc, plum, licorice, chewey fin. Mild heat, lacks depth/barrel, but decent RIS. Imperial Czar (Level 4) Earned the Imperial Czar (Level 4) badge!

The Bruery by Share This: Coffee

Drew H. is drinking a Share This: Coffee by The Bruery at DBR’s Bourbon-Barreled Beer Basement and Hops-travaganza

Roasty coffee, huge malt body, creamy. An impressive coffee beer that is one of the better in recent memory from Bieryr. Worth picking up 2X Earned the 2X badge!
