As good as their new coffee stout is, this is terrible. I’m guessing I got a bad bottle, but it tastes like shoe leather - bitter and with zero redeeming qualities.

Don’t get much of the barrel, and I’m not a huge coffee beer fan, but this is so well-balanced between the coffee, chocolate, and vanilla on a silky smooth, rich base.

Holds up well considering the age. Still had good carbonation. Very earthy, not boozy. Light toffee and chocolate.
