Will Westbury: Thoughts and prayers

Darrell S is drinking a Hobgoblin Session IPA by Wychwood Brewery at The Pavillion
What, in all manner of hell, is this? For want of a better description this Greene King IPA in a silly glass. But of course I had to try it....

Andy S: Define ‘of course’ … ?
Darrell S is drinking a Brooklyn Pilsner by Brooklyn Brewery at The Pavillion
Slightly feels like I'm drinking in a wedding marquee. And having to slum it on lager ain't helping with that. But at least it's Brooklyn. So better than average.
Darrell S is drinking a Kipling by Thornbridge Brewery at Saville Square
See Trev W. I TOLD you it would get better. Very few things better than being Kippled on cask tbf. Especially in the sun. Some things are worth building up to...
Trev Wood: Well it could hardly have got worse , unless you went alcohol free I suppose 🤔😱😂🍻
Darrell S: Lol. 🍻
Darrell S: Decided to stay for another, bit only half. Barmaid panicked slightly and said she wasn't sure she could do that as only ever done in pints before. I assured her it was exactly the same. You just stop half way. 🤷
Trev Wood: 😂😂
Trev Wood: She could always have pulled a pint and then poured half away I suppose 🤔😬😂🍻
Darrell S is drinking a Carling Premier by Molson Coors (UK) at Hare And Hounds
Bloody hell. Hofmeister and now Carling Premier. Hoyland Common is a proper trip back 25 years or so. Not much premier about the taste but it is very smooth. Not at all gassy like normal lager.
Not as dunkel as I was expecting, in the appearance at least. Tastes fairly dark tho. Which is fine. As I'm inside, cos outside everywhere is rammed now. That's what happens when the sun comes out a bit and temps in the north enter double figures.
