Rebecca Foreman is drinking a Thrilla in Brazilla by Peticolas Brewing Company at Peticolas Brewing Company
2024 Members’ Party: Thrilla was the first IPA I flipped for with Brazilian hops. Delicious bitter balance of fruity and floral, like some West Coast without the dank. Perfect with tacos or on its own.

Rebecca Foreman is drinking a Black Gold by Kent Brewery at Akkurat
Starts as a mellow cascadian ale with subtle floral & fruity hops, finishes with long, dry, hoppy aftertaste. Pleasant aroma. Clean and easy drinking. Reliably Kent cask!

Solid, balanced pale ale. Hops traditional, maybe even English? Tasty malt backbone, too.

A relatively cool day in north Texas, a genuine pub ale in the “beer garden”—perfect! Even as it warms, this beer maintains its tasty malt flavor and slight hops edge. Good enough to take home in a crowler.

Who brews real Scottish ale? GS’s malt body & sweetness, smooth & complex flavors that can’t be beat. For instance, caramel richness but basic dry base. Used to be my favorite on Saturdays at Peticolas. Now it’s my fav any old day.
