Clive Thompson is drinking a Guinness Draught by Guinness at Dunnings Bar
Three small slurps and a sip, then wondered how close I was to 'splitting the G'. Quite close. Made me realise that this is not so much a drinking challenge but more of a luck one, albeit you can get more lucky if you practise enough, like most sports

Clive Thompson is drinking a Superdelic Sumo by Mad Squirrel Brewery at Mad Squirrel Tap Watford
Throwback to when Adrian G. was working here, as 'Stairway' came on just as I started it. Thicker mouthfeel, maybe less aggressive hop wise. Am I getting the extra 1%? not really - maybe should have pushed it to an extra 2-3%.

Clive Thompson is drinking a Sumo DDH by Mad Squirrel Brewery at Mad Squirrel Tap Watford
Two Sumo variations just come on, so have to compare and contrast. Fruity nose. Sharp fruity pithy taste. Very dry, a proper DDH that lets you know about it.

Clive Thompson is drinking an Export India Porter Amarillo Comet by The Kernel Brewery at Two Trees Micro
How unusual, a Kernel beer with no tasting notes 🤷‍♂️. Roasty, coffee, chocolate, good mouthfeel. Retains head well. Nice dry finish. Has benefitted by not being pulled through a cooler - note to other crafty places, don't chill the f out of dark beers

And my Friday lot are sorted. Not sure if they'll get up for open Mic - actually I am sure, they'll go no where near it, same as myself.
