Magnus Borgh is drinking a Le Cœur De Provision by Burning Sky Brewery at Untappd at Home
Light, crisp and bright. Acidity is very light, even for a saison, and cut by a mild bitterness at the end. Sharp lemon and lime take centre stage. A nice enough thirst quencher, but a little too nondescript.

A classic stout. Nothing stands out, nothing is wrong. Some pleasant roasty notes simmer under the surface. Chocolate flutters by. A smooth and inoffensive but pleasant brew.

Beggars can’t be choosers. Not bad for a “let’s see if there’s anything drinkable” though. Malty and sweet but with some hops. Not fully on board with the banana notes.

Just what you need in a simple stout after a meal to finish the evening. Sweet but not cloying, loads of milk chocolate and vanilla with some dark malts running through. Easy to drink and sensible abv. No sensation but just what you need sometimes.

A classic stout with extra everything. Big, big, big roasty malt flavours, chocolate, coffee, toffee. The high abv gives a slick mouthfeel and some initial sweetness. The finish is very slightly bitter. Great stout for a long evening.
