Steve Buckingham: I think the 1.5 was very generous. More than I gave it. AND you’ve Untappd it before. It’s a distortion of the average.

Ty Buckingham is drinking a Locked On Imperial Belgian Cherry Sour by One Drop Brewing Co at Untappd at Home
Solid representation of the style. Tart, plucky cherries weaved into a sour base that sings with hints of rye and bread. Almost silky, with a really balanced core that brings a sense of danger - there’s no way this is 8.3%! Crisp. Tart. Clean. Nice.

Guy Pink: 0.5 surely!!
Ty Buckingham: It’s actually semi-acceptable compared to most ‘common’ lagers… surprisingly
BurntTyres: Can’t wait to try it. I’ll pick some up locally if they still do it round these parts.
Ty Buckingham is drinking a Bonfire Choc Bourbon Stout by Earth Beer Company at Untappd at Home
Bonfire is an apt name. Roasty coffee, dark chocolate bitterness, a touch of vanilla, and a big heavy hit of smokiness. It’s almost got that vibe of the smell you have after spending the night in front of a campfire. Tasty.

Ty Buckingham is drinking a THE COUNTDOWN by One Drop Brewing Co at Untappd at Home
Whew, bit of a big one this. Maybe the most balanced ‘Clean Fusion’ I’ve come across so far. Dank, juicy, earthy, with plenty of citrusy-limey-peachy hits that just screams Aotearoa. Silky smooth with a hop bite that pleasantly lingers. Good stuff.

This is surprisingly better than expected! Didn’t quite realise it was 8.2%, but I think that gives the rum a little more of the spotlight, bringing the hoppiness into a mellow, sweet core that resonates on the palate. A touch too easy to drink…
