Bo Lavens is drinking a Petrichor by Temporal Artisan Ales at Threefold
Dark brown. Thinnish for a black IPA, but roasty, tons of bitterness and the gin and oak just sort of weaving in and out. This is the second batch, I’ve had both batches several times and it’s still just a really wild beer that pimp slaps my tastebuds.
Bo Lavens is drinking a Midnight Still – Peanut Butter and Cocoa Nibs (2022) by Holy Mountain Brewing at Holy Mountain Brewing Company
Dark brown, no head. Bourbon, light peanut, cocoa nibs. Lots of richness from the cocoa nibs, soft body, oily, light peanut, and quite a bit of bourbon.
Bo Lavens is drinking a Walls of the Cave by Georgetown Brewing Company at Georgetown Brewing Co.
Hazy amber, aroma is vanilla, fig, toffee, and complex toffeeish sugars. Beautiful…vanilla, barrel, tannin, toffee, great sugars, complex. Fantastic.

Bo Lavens is drinking a BBA 9PM 2026 by Great Notion Brewing at Great Notion Brewing
Near black and no head. Aroma is bourbon, port, chocolate, toffee, that port again, so much fruitiness and complexity. Soft and sweet, the base is good but the barrel, damn, fantastic port character, rich bourbon, still some sugars.

Still amazing. The richness of the bourbon, the vinous port finish, full body, this is the absolute shit.
