Disappointing nose. Medium bodied. Booze followed by coffee and eventually the beer catches up. Soft toffee, dried fruits and hazelnuts.  Finishes with more alcohol fumes. This is as good as many barrel aged stouts. Very, very long.

My first ever cask burnt mill. This is glorious! Do I love it? Yes! Am I getting West Coast vibes? Well, not really… but, as a cask, it's right up there. Totally sessionable. Scored high because it's beautiful rather than because it's a complex beer

Honey, pears, lemon, angostura bitters, chili and quite herby. Savoury end notes. Sour as f*** and strips your nose. A sipper and all the better for it. One of only ten kegs in the world apparently.
