Alex Low is drinking a Krubera - Mocha Stout by Hollow Stone Brewing Company at CAMRA's Great British Beer Festival Winter
GBBF #25 Yep twenty fifth unique ale in an old steel works with no EE reception. Fucking Bacon. Kevin. This was a great stout which I was not allowed to enjoy in peace due the loud PIL iminatators on stage. Poor choice of entertainment for a CAMRA event.
Alex Low is drinking a Nitro Stout by Arbor Ales at The Beer Engine
One of the 'cooler' Nitro stouts I've had over the past three freezing cold days in South Yorkshire. Some flavour actually came through. Sadly I'm far too tipsy to think of any adjectives to describe that/those flavour/s.
Alex Low is drinking a Milk Stout Milk Shake (Cask) by Wiper And True at The Beer Engine
Last pub of Sheffield 2025 and second last drink. Smooth, creamy and well milky milk stout. One more ale and I can tell you all I'm looking forward to a well earned break from all these lovely unique dark ales. Thank God for Scotland.
Alex Low is drinking a Cohesive Chaos by Wilde Child Brewing Company at The Bankers Draft (Wetherspoon)
An appropriately named beer for the cohesive chaos of waiting for over 40 minutes for a Sir Tim Martin microwaved meal in this Spoons. Thankfully this thin stout and the loud chat of the two immigrants beh9ng us from a North African desert kept me calm.
Alex Low is drinking a My Brass Hand by Sureshot Brewing at The Harlequin
A dirty leftover festering coffee style stout with a hefty back hand, brass or not. Surrounded by elder South Yorkshire ska music fans with a bad attitude. Intimidated.
Purchased at The Harlequin
Alex Low: Sweeney's on the Park!!!! What the heck drew you there?
Alex Low: Damn it! Had originally checked in an incorrect version of this one but thanks to Matt L. I can remove that after reviewing this one. Not that I can recall ought without my notes!
