Dead Guy Ale by Rogue Ales

Brian Kaufman is drinking a Dead Guy Ale by Rogue Ales at Broken Tree Pizza & Taproom - Appleton

Malty and slightly roasty. Has a mild caramel sweetness. There's a little hoppiness but really lands like a traditional maibock.

Northern Lights Ale by South Shore Brewery

Brian Kaufman is drinking a Northern Lights Ale by South Shore Brewery at Poplar Hall

Better out of the can. Definitely has a pilsner quality, but a nice cream ale base. The oats help smooth this out. Notnsure what happened to the one I had on draft but this is a different beer.

Habanero Haze by Tree House Brewing Company

Brian Kaufman is drinking a Habanero Haze by Tree House Brewing Company at camp tamarack

The base haze is a great beer, that really comes through as a nice citrus hazy. I was really hoping for more from the habanero. The heat is mild on the backend, I get the heat, but it needs to be more with habanero being the name of the beer.

Hugh Jass by H.H. Hinder Brewing Company

Brian Kaufman is drinking a Hugh Jass by H.H. Hinder Brewing Company at H.H. Hinder Brewing Company

A belgian strong paired with a golden, this is great. Full bodied for a golden but easy drinking for the high abv. Has that bready malt profile with a hint of fruitiness. There's a unique, underlying hop profile, a mild spiced flavor.
