Grew more fond of Maallust during our stay in Drenthe. Certainly the best brewery of that province, which is still a compliment even though there are so few (25 or so?). Great barley wine, dried and overripe fruit, strong almond flavour.

Really amazing, when you realise this comes comes from one of the most sparsely populated places in the world. Almost a decade ago since I was there... Good hoppiness, almost juicy, alright hop bill. +.25, because I'm biased.
