Holy Smokes! I like a Doppelbock. I don’t fancy Rauchbier. I would not want to drink a four pack of these in a night or id spontaneously combust. But the craft in this one is intense. I mean intense. I didn’t get any Date flavor, but more burnt cherries.

I really wanted to love this beer. It is not piney at all. It is more nectarine than their single hop nectaron. I am a huge fan of DIPAs and I appreciate its drinkability at 8.5% ABV but I’m not loving it. Perhaps it’s the plastic cup. I don’t know.
