Birnesap by The Bruery

Easily the closest thing to sparkling cider I've ever had in beer form. I'm not mad about it. There's a sort of sweet creaminess to the wheat wine base that goes nicely with this tart pear flavor. So far so good with these cofermentation experiments.

Sticking with the Midwest region and another first time brewery for me. I can't really say this one nails it. There's a thinness to it that makes me wonder if it's a blended brew. The price tag certainly suggests not but I don't want to wonder that at $12

3 Floyds is finally in MD so I get to try the famous Zombie Dust. If I'm being honest, I'm pretty underwhelmed. It's fine. I don't see myself picking it up again any time soon.

01/22/16. Holding up fantastically well. I was pleasantly surprised by the newly expanded vintage beer section. I'm not going to pass on a chance to buy a bottle of this. It's been a long time.
