Brian H. is drinking an Aecht Schlenkerla - Helles Lager by Brauerei Schlenkerla at The Birch

The light smoke makes it seem like it should be spiced ...but it's not.

Brian H. is drinking a Palate Wrecker by Green Flash Brewing Co. at The Birch

This is a great beer - helps me not miss a brewery from the Midwest. ThreeFloyds

Brian H. is drinking a Green Can by O'Connor Brewing Company at Cogan's Pizza

Brian H. is drinking a Great Dismal IPA by O'Connor Brewing Company at Cogan's Pizza

I'm not typically into BIPA's, but this one is tasty! Earned the Local Flavor badge! Earned the I Believe in IPA! badge!

Brian H. is drinking a Cowcatcher by Smartmouth Brewing Co.

Full. Nostalgic of my early forays into good beer. Dark, almost smoky flavor is well offset with the creaminess of lactose in the brew.

Brian H. is drinking a Murphy's Law Amber Ale by Smartmouth Brewing Co. at Smartmouth

Very refreshing. Has a "sweet maltyness" rather than malty sweetness. This is what you want alongside a bacon cheddar burger or corned beef. Earned the Night Out badge!

Brian H. is drinking an El Guapo Agave IPA by O'Connor Brewing Company

Light bodied, strong bitterness, and the agave isn't too pronounced. ...but a plethora of stars, I can no give!

Brian H. is drinking a Hop Rod Rye™ by Bear Republic Brewing Co. at The Public House

Right between a red and a brown ale, hopped up like an IPA, and spiced with plenty of rye!

Brian H. is drinking a Rule G by Smartmouth Brewing Co.

Great bitterness, mouthfeel isn't too heavy, malty flavones. It could use some brighter floral notes before I'll give it a 5.

Brian H. is drinking a Mother of Exiles by Revolution Brewing Company

No doubt that this is what a pilsner is supposed to be.
