ZenMasterDude: And everyone looking at their phones. Sigh.
Andy Turpin is drinking a Sussex Dark by Arundel Brewery at Untappd at Home
Top dark ale. Stout-ish, porter-ish but apparently neither. Caramel, roasty malts, dry, somewhat bitter. Dark plums make a fleeting appearance on the long finish. Really good and went exceedingly well with dinner. "Persian-style" chicken and aubergines.

As I've got to drive in an hour and a half's time I thought I'd better have something lighter. This is a very decent pale ale. Citrus notes, light hints of tropical fruits. For just 3.8% abv it's very tasty indeed. A proper beer session tomorrow!

Andy Turpin: ZenMasterDude including me! 😀👍🍻 Although to be fair the two guys nearest the camera had been having a good old chinwag for at least an hour! 😀
Andy Turpin is drinking a Wild West by Bristol Beer Factory at Fuggles Beer Café Tunbridge Wells
Never had a Slovenian IPA before! When I say Slovenian it was actually brewed in Bristol. 😊 Made with two different Styrian hops. Unusual but very tasty indeed. Gentle to begin with, full force is reached about 2/3 of the way down the glass. Delicious!

Andy Turpin: Flavour profile says "tropical". I don't get that at all. Very "temperate" fruit notes. Pear, quince, russet apples, faint hints of blackberries. It's fair to say it seems autumnal. Although there are lemon hints, it's not lemony.
Butch Barney: Man would love to try this one on Cask. What an awesome description, Andy. I would enjoy this on tap as well. But cask? That's another level. Cheers, friend. 👍🍺
Andy Turpin: Butch B. Cheers mate! 😀👍🍻
Andy Turpin is drinking a Leffe Blonde / Blond by Abbaye de Leffe at Untappd at Home
Great bottle of this earlier this evening. About 3 hours ago now. I notice that the abv has been reduced. 6%, down from 6.6%. Why does it seem as if all breweries are playing that game! 😕 Still, tasty as usual. No banana this time. Otherwise, as per.

Steve K: Less duty. And they left the banana out!
Andy Turpin: Actually, mine was a Belgian one so clearly they're all at it! 🙄
Much better than last years version by Glen Cannich by some margin. It is thin but all the flavours are there as per the description. I really do get a Christmas Pudding vibe and there's definitely custard flavour. I'm minded to buy it again! 3.85 scored.
