Very tart and funky in the nose, but incredibly gentle on the palate. Not much flavor at the start but the herbs come through strongly in the finish. A lot like mildly alcoholic tea!

Peaty and chocolatey, with the right balance of sweetness to blend the two together. The barrel character is really exquisite, with the Scotch entirely present, but without overpowering the rest of the beer.

Big raisin flavor and a solid amount of red wine tannins. The Port is pretty muted and the underlying stout is on the thinner side, but overall this is very nice.
