I’ve been drinking a lot more sodas in 2024 since I’ve quit alcohol for the time being. Sometimes you just want something that tastes like a beer though. Picked up an expensive 6 pack of these nonalcoholic sours. Big blueberry smell and slight funk taste.

Yummy root beer. Caramel and vanilla flavors. Happy to see a root beer here on Untappd to log. I had an A&W yesterday, and this is much more flavorful. Still, it’s a lot of sugar, this and the black cherry soda I drank previously this afternoon.

It tastes like watery IPA. Since this is hazy, I really should have requested a glass. Weird to drink a beer. Had a black cherry soda at the last time place. This AF beer is fine, but I wouldn’t want to pay a full beer price for this experience.

Smells like a light IPA. Tastes like a lighter IPA. This is pretty good. After a shitty day I felt like a needed a beer. Will this suffice? I guess. I need the taste and a moment to relax with the ritual of a beer rather than a heavy high ABV brew. Maybe.
