Hands down the best milk stout I've ever had. 8.1% and not at all the bitterness you'd expect from a high abv beer. Smooth, rich, a dessert of a beer. Would absolutely drink again. 5 stars.

I don't give many 5s. This earns it. This year's Russian Imperial Stout has a fantastic coating mouthfeel, rich and complex malty flavor, beautiful black color. True to DECA's commitment to perfection, there's no hot alcohol burn, not at all astringent. 5

Absolutely fantastic. Having again years later, and it's only gotten better. There may not be many bottles of this left in the world, but if you get your hands on one save it for a special occasion, it's worth it :-)
