Beaker would like this one. It hardly explodes at all, doesn't cause you to grow many extra arms, and doesn't change your hair colour unduly. And it tastes good. Floral, fruity, and juicy. Meep meep meep meep

Quality control on the new batch. It's pretty good. Big bold dark malt hit, big chunky hairy mouthfeel, hints of stale sweat and last week's deodorant. It's a winner.

This bottle has been aging for over a year. The chocolate has gotten richer, the orange has gotten more like a deep saffron. Gorgeous layers of complexity with the original hint of crazy still peeking through. Divine.

Banana and passionfruit, with elderflower and peppery notes. I like this one. Will make it again.

I may be biased but I'm still ranking my fresh hop home brew as the best fresh hop I've had this year. It's definitely the hoppiest, and the freshest. Things like balance between bitterness and malt go out the window in fresh hop season

The fresh hop home brew is good to go! All the fresh hop over load i want in a fresh hop beer, because I made it myself. Big huge hop front followed by a bitter hop driven aftertaste. Kortegast and smooth cone and Riwaka, oh my!

Bottling night quality control tasting. Fresh hops from the pergola over the front door, 20 seconds from picking to the fermenter. It's quite hoppy, I thought. Too hoppy you say? HELL NO! It's got the potential to curl my tongue till winter starts!

Second batch is going down well. Or is it the third?

Found a '21 bottle in the beer cellar. Aged very well. Nutty, rounded and slightly hairy. Delicious

First time I've made this in ages. Light, crisp and creamy with slight banana notes. Perfect after the bike ride home. Not much shining but loads of wit flavours present. Pleased with that. A good share of wit indeed Mr Chesterton

After far too long an absence, the monk is back. Tried to recreate the original yeast which didn't really work, but the resulting beer is still good. Slightly funky, slightly boozy, slightly pious. Pretty good overall.
