Will COVID -19 (Coronavirus) impact the festival?

Due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic, the Untappd Beer Festival originally scheduled for May 16, 2020 has been postponed to April 24, 2021. While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff and community very seriously and will continue to use the guidance from local and national health organizations to make informed decisions regarding the future of the festival.

Attendees who purchased tickets for the original festival date of May 16, 2020 will have their tickets honored for the same Session on April 24, 2021. Tickets for each Session are non-transferable. Those who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster and are unable to attend the new festival date will receive an email with instructions on how to obtain a refund. The refund option will be open for 30 days and will close September 2, 2020. After the 30 day grace period, the refund policy will revert back to all sales being final.

What is Untappd Beer Festival?

Untappd Beer Festival is a one-day, two session celebration of Untappd’s Community of beer drinkers, breweries, and venues.

Do you offer Designated Driver tickets?

Yes, Designated Driver tickets will be available at the door the day of the festival. Designated Driver ticket holders are not permitted to consume alcohol.

Will there be food at the festival?

Yes, your favorite food trucks and vendors along with stadium concession stands will have food available for purchase. 

Can I bring water?

No, outside water is not allowed, but there will be free water (while supplies last) at the festival, water fountains in the stadium concourse, as well as water available for purchase in the concourse.

Are reusable water bottles allowed?

Yes! Empty, reusable water bottles are allowed and can be filled at any of the water fountains in the concourse. 

Can I bring chairs?

No, chairs or any other type of seating cannot be brought into the stadium. There will be covered seating on the field. There will also be open seating in the stands off of the concourse.

What other items are prohibited?

Will there be any non-beer options?

Yes, there will be seltzer, cider and mead tastings available.

Do I have to be at least 21 years old?

Yes, state law requires that all attendees are 21 years or older.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed

Does my ticket need to be printed or can it be scanned on my phone?

Either one works! It can be printed or scanned on your phone

How many samples do I receive?

You will have Unlimited samples as part of your admission ticket

What is the bag policy?

This will be the same as the NFL bag policy: Clear bag no bigger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a clear one gallon sized freezer bag OR a woman’s clutch no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.” For additional information about allowed items, see the Stadium Clear Bag Policy.

Can I leave and re-enter?

No, Untappd Beer Festival is a no re-entry festival. Once you are out, you are out.

Can I get a refund?

No, refunds will not be issued, but tickets can be given to a friend or family member. All sales are final. Untappd is not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten wristbands or lanyards, or for the replacement of wristbands/lanyards for any reason. 

All breweries advertised have confirmed their appearance at Untappd Beer Festival; however, breweries are subject to change without notice. There will be no refunds or exchanges resulting from the failure of any brewery to appear at the festival.  

I lost my ID, what other forms of identification will be accepted?

The only other form of identification that will be accepted is a valid passport

Is there parking?

Yes, there will be cash parking just adjacent to the festival site. However, we strongly encourage everyone to take an Uber, Lyft, taxi, hotel shuttle, or ride share to the festival.

What comes with the VIP ticket?

VIP Tickets may enter the Festival an hour earlier than general admission and have access to all breweries on the field and live entertainment. VIP tickets include:

• Meet & greet with Untappd co-founder/CTO Greg Avola and BeerAdvocate founder Todd Alström
• Access to the private South Club Lounge on the suite level
• Early access into the festival one hour prior to general admission

What happens if it rains?

Untappd Beer Festival is a rain or shine event. Breweries will be split up and available on the covered concourse and field level this year. Weather permitting, brewery tents will remain on the field throughout the festival. As a contingency plan, if inclement weather is anticipated in advance of the festival the festival and stadium staff will move breweries with a field position to the concourse. Untappd, in cooperation with Bank of America Stadium and local emergency services, will provide the most up to date and best weather information available in case of a severe weather outbreak affecting the grounds. A severe weather announcement will be made on stage and through the video boards that can be heard and seen throughout the festival area, and a notification will be sent via our mobile phone app or social sites when severe weather threatens the area. Severe weather can sometimes occur with little or no advance warning. Response crews are located on site - check the map for the locations of the Medical and Guest Services locations. In the event of a storm, lighting, thunder or extreme winds, a Weather Alert will be issued and patrons should be prepared to move to the designated storm area on the concourse and enjoy.
