The defining characteristic of mead is that the majority of the beverage's fermentable sugar is derived from honey. It may be still, carbonated, or naturally sparkling; dry, semi-sweet, or sweet. Mead was produced in ancient history throughout Europe, Africa and Asia.

Our Meadcleaver Maiden is a dry, low body, medium % alcoholic beer, brewed using a one step Mash recipee and added honey during the cooking phase. Slightly touch of smoke by using Rauchmalt. It's main purpose : a darker thirst quencher with a touch of smoke ... Ideally to accompany those who prefer a BBQ or those sitting idle while smoking beef/fish.
