Hoppy and piney on the nose. Oh yeah. It’s piney and clean. It bitter, but to me the perfect amount of it. The hop character is nice and a touch of citrus come through on the finish.

I don’t get a lot in the nose. There is some malt. It is light and clean. Tries to go sweet at the start but turns dry fast. It’s easy drinking. I don’t see this style much so I wanted to have it.

Bright brittle bitter chocolate mainline…like a Ghirardelli 70%-plus cacao foil-wrapped bar…with a sizzlin’ rye spice side wash. Lovely black roast ImpStout with a covert 10% ABV and a blatantly obvious 77 IBU. Holds a fine head at this weight. Cheers!
