The bourbon barrel aging is evident on the nose, and it tends to dominate the flavour to the point where it really isn't very balanced. The strength of the beer doesn't help in that regard either.

Cloudy yellow. Some hints of fruitiness on the nose. Somewhat bready flavour. The fruitiness shows up in the aftertaste, but not so much before then.
