Court Shoes Only, the city-wide collaborative beer initiative launched in Charlotte, NC in 2021, will be returning on September 15th, 2023 for its third year. This beer initiative was created to support, sustain and expand ACEing Autism tennis programs serving individuals with autism. The goal of the initiative is to capture the spirit of the brewery community in the cities ACEing Autism has a program location to raise awareness, accessibility and affordability of its specialized tennis curriculum.

The September 15th release date commemorates 15 successful years of ACEing Autism connecting kids through tennis. This year, dozens of participating beverage makers in North Carolina and South Carolina will be creating and releasing a spectrum of variants for craft beer drinkers throughout the Carolinas to explore and delight in at the taproom and for purchase at select retail outlets. As in previous years, breweries and cideries will craft a product across a shared theme. The theme for Court Shoes Only 2023 is hops. Each brewery is encouraged to let their character shine through their beer. Whether an IPA, a hoppy pilsner or an entirely different beer style is chosen, the only boundaries in play are that hops take Centre Court.
