The Warsaw Beer Festival was first held in 2014, the first event of its kind in Poland. It continues to bring together modern Polish craft beer tastes and the hottest trends. For the first time the WBF will be collaborating with Untappd thereby enabling visitors to vote for their favourite beers and keep track of the festival's best-selling beers. "Partly, we actually want to analyse drinking habits," says Paweł Leszczyński, the festival's founder and mastermind. "We want to see if drinkers are more likely to enjoy a beer at home, or in the pub or at a festival – we want to learn if a location impacts enjoyment." And yes, every vote counts – once the festival closes, souvenir packs containing the top-ranked beers will be made available for sale!
