PNC Broken Elevator

Broken Elevator was brewed as a collaboration with the Publican National Committee (a group of U.S. bar owners)
back in 2009. It was brewed as a dark sour and the grist consisted of pilsner, aromatic and chocolate malt with about 8% flaked maize. It was gently hopped with a blend of noble hops for balance. The beer was fermented for over three
years in both wine and bourbon barrels. The result is a ruby-dark brown beer with an aroma of black currant, tobacco and a soft chocolate note. The flavor is fruity and tart, finishing dry with a mouth puckering tartness. Show Less
