Hef To Def

Inspired by the common trend for breweries to make a lot of different IPA’s (full disclosure, we do it too), we thought to ourselves..”if we can make IPA 50 different ways, surely we can make hefeweizen at least 2!” If you’ve been here before, you know we make an outstanding hefeweizen. Some would say phenomenal, others would say it’s in a league of its own, and there are a couple of folks that may suggest our hefeweizen is the greatest thing since sliced bread.


All of those fine beer connessuriers are totally right! Thus we present to you, a brand new hefeweizen. Taking the big banana flavors that the yeast so generously provide, we then add 300 lbs of strawberries, for a slam dunk of a flavor combination. Beyond the astonishing flavor the strawberry addition creates it also provides an adorable blush to the beer giving it a unique pink hue.


For those of you concerned about this being a giant, boring, onenote flavor profile of strawberry so massive you can’t even distinguish what the base beer is supposed to be. Fear not, you are at Bad Beat Brewing, we make beer. Anything else we add blends seamlessly into the base beer style and enhances the overall character of the beer, as well as the style of beer that it is. Cheers! Show Less
