Ok, my last check-in 5 years ago, said to check in again in a year or five. Here we are. It's mellowing in a good way. Dangerously so at 10.5%. Toffee and strangely light on the palate, I think it can stand some more time

Bottled in 2015. Holding up very well. Caramel, nutty, sweet maltiness. All off flavors in this beer when it was younger have aged out. Nice, mildly boozy, sweet Belgian quad. Really nice. Great cellar success story!!

2015. Cellar success story. Tinny taste when fresh is gone. Great aged caramel malt smell, into a tasty rich caramel and fig taste that doesn’t get cloying. Cleans up a bit with heat on finish but not boozey. The real deal dark Belgian quad here.
