12 Point High Desert Wit

12 Point is a new take on the Belgian Wit Style brewed with a traditional yeast, Forbidden Fruit. The fruity nuance is usually accentuated by coriander and orange peel added to the whirlpool. However, when you mash up Alan and the innovation brewers from Widmer you get this version made with deer antler racks steeped in the hot liquor tank and sage and juniper beer added for additional botanical characteristics. The resulting wit is spicy and botanical. This beer was designed for the BrewShed Alliance Brewfest (Wild and Scenic Collaboration) and influenced by the Malheur River. “Keep Portland Weird!” Show Less
