Barke® Dunkel

Our Barke Dunkel Vienna is part of a worldwide project with the goal of finding new ways to explore German dark beers. The initiative has brought together the talents of Horst Dornbush, renowned brewer and author, with a select number of brewers from around the world to rediscover and innovate German dark lager styles.
The style that Wormtown collaborated on was a Dunkel Vienna. Our version has a toasted bready nose which transitions to smooth baker’s chocolate along with a fruity hop aroma and clean, dry finish.
This exploration will result in a book named “Dark Lagers – The History, Mystery, Profiles, Ingredients, Processes and Recipes by Thomas Kraus-Weyermann and Horst Dornbusch”. Show Less
