We took our New Beginning’s #5 experimental Double IPA and amped it up with Phantasm (a patent pending thiolized powdered Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Marlborough New Zealand) and quadrupled our mash hopping rates. The Phantasm with Cosmic Punch yeast unleashes an incredible amount of passionfruit, pink guava and freshly squeezed citrus flavors and aromas. This beer pours a beautiful orange color almost like OJ. As the beer passes your nose you will get an initial rush of intense citrus and passionfruit followed by pink guava, peaches and mangoes. It is so incredibly fragrant that it stings your nostrils with delight. The flavor follows suit while maintaining a creamy, pillowy and soft mouthfeel.
