Thomas Says Smile

Thomas Says Smile is a traditional German style Festbier. It’s slightly lighter in color than Marzen but still has a nice golden straw color. We used Pilsener malt as a base malt and combined it with Vienna malt to give it some body and nice color. We added Spalter Select into the Whirlpool to have a good amount of grassy and herbal hop aromas and flavors to balance out the fairly “rich” beer (rich meaning some body with minor sweetness). The result is a highly drinkable, golden colored beer with a decent balancing bitterness and a nice, subtle hop character from a traditional German hop variety. Show Less
