Pretty hoppy for a Barley Wine - which is fine, but it does miss out on the warmth and semi-sweet toffee flavors that are characteristic of the style. Not bad, but not my favorite BW either.

Interessant dat (Noord-)Amerikaanse en Engelse gerstewijnen zo ver uit elkaar liggen. Deze is rijk en erg lekker, maar er ontbreekt voor mij iets. Net dat klein beetje te zoet, net dat klein beetje te zacht in vergelijking met een goede Engelse.
