Barky dark cocoa, sticky stained bourbon barrel staves, and a good deal of dry char in the malt…in a robust Imperial Stout. Sneaky 10.4% ABV, drinks lighter. Impressive. Cheers!

The bourbon notes are slightly hidden by the strong coffee flavor but a very smooth brew either way. A very good brew for such a small brewery. Now I need to swing by for a pint of the cherries and cream that they just released.
