Saisonic Shift

We partnered up with Great Western Malting Company to brew a Saison with some experimental Great Western Malt. The highlight is a “funk malt” they made on their innovation malting system. This malt has nuances of citrus (lemon). This is coupled with their “PURE” Pilsen malt which is light and clean tasting. A traditional Belgian Saison yeast was used, producing fruity esters and a tough of phenols. Brew-1 and Lemondrop hops were used to accentuate the malt profile. The result? A dry, highly complex Saison that showcases some excellent experimental ingredients. Show Less
