Asheville Coffee Porter WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast

A robust coffee porter brewed on our pilot system in Asheville and fermented with WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast. We used Counter Culture's Buziraguhindwa coffee beans, known for their tangerine, black tea, and fig flavors.

WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast:
This yeast is from one of the oldest Stout-producing breweries in the world. It’s great for many beer styles but shines in malty British styles such as Stouts, Porters, and Brown Ales. Medium attenuation helps with a dry finish that promotes roasty notes. Esters help round out the flavor, making a soft, drinkable stout. Show Less
