Mode is a modern American Lager. With gratitude for lager traditions others began far away and long ago, Mode reflects our here and now. Growing a New Tradition celebrates our country’s highest quality ingredients and special methods to create beer that’s uniquely American.

AMPLIFY WITHOUT DISTORTION
We lay the foundation for Mode by ushering the all-Virginia grist through our lager mash regime. The aim is to carefully open up, but not contort, the beautiful depth of flavor from local grain that’s been expertly malted in small batch. Balancing the malt’s fresh bread crust-meets-leavened dough character is a refreshing pop of Meyer lemon and noble spice from a charge of U.S. hops. The result is a full-flavored, easy-drinking lager.
