Still tons of roasted flavor on this one. Smooth oaky finish, this is a great “easy” beer to cellar that just gets better with time in the darkness.

Not bad for 11 years old. Still has a bit a dark fruit and barrel notes. It does show its age, with leathery characteristics coming through.

Pretty much like drinking an oak tree. Still well carbed, bit of roast, lots of oak. #SpringCleaning

Super coffee on nose and chocolate on palate - a little burnt flavor that's not offputting

Thanks Ant! Defenitly past its Prime, but the age has smoothed it out a lot, LOTS of umami, and light grape and gravy notes of oxidation.

Lots of dark fruit, oak, and bourbon. Really smooth. Held up well in the cellar....and a $6.50 bargain price back in the day.
