Experiments In Combination

We make a lot of different IPA's. One of the main reasons for this (outside of loving how they taste!) is our unending fascination with the relatively-still-unknown science of how different hop and malt profiles combine together to create new, fresh aromas + tastes.

Recently we came across the theory that Nugget hops, which are high in linalool essential oil, when combined with Chinook hops, which are high in geraniol essential oil, could potentially emulate the ubiquitous Citra hops, which are high in both oils.

Thus, we bring you Experiments In Combination, a hazy IPA brewed with El Dorado, Nugget and Chinook hops. We sure like the results, but our hand-selected lot of 2018 Citra is fantastic and hard to imitate, what do you think? Show Less
