The General

Well in keeping with tradition that 2020 is a bastard of a year, we weren't able to do Balthazar this year. We just didnt have any barrels that were appropriate or watertight.

So we pulled off this batch and...well, it's still really, really good. Full of chocolate, coffee and oak notes, this is a big, bad Imperial Stout.

Made with Simpson's Choc Malt and some smoke malt, with a few handfulls of coffee beans and cacao nibs and a liberal slug of American oak, you'll get all the usual notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and smoke char.
