Both more than the descriptions and less. The aging has mellowed it already in a year, so still big fruit notes but mixed with the barrel heat and a candy nose. Delicious belly warmer!

Rum drenched holiday toffee/fruitcake nose. Starts sweet molasses syrup and dark fruit to malt and a boozy punch, followed by spices and a flavor I can’t quite place, fading into a finish is dark caramel/toffee with a little lingering bitterness.
