Literally never thought I would get to try this. #1 on my whale list. Definitely worth the price of admission off the cellar list here. This bottle simply does not exist anymore in the wild. Held-up incredibly well, especially considering it’s from 2013.

Surprisingly very good still. Smooth caramel apple on the palate, sweeter than most magicks due to the AB barrel. Thing is a ghost so I’m happy to try it.

Bottle #178. Finally. The white whale. PVW>LAB>BTb1>2011. Sweeter than the Pappy with a little more bite. Not a ton of apple, but it's there. Still a top magick, but can't hang a 5 on it.

2013 Meadville release. First homerun from the cellar in a while. It’s velvety smooth. The 2013 review I made of this beer noted boozy and a lot going on - no more. Just sweet, roasted, big deliciousness.

What a stunner. Not only does the base stout still feel alive, but the barrel on it - despite having a genuine fear it would dissipate easily - held so remarkably well, it left a group of people slack-jawed. Big, biscuity apple brandy flavor that pops.
