Plenty of cherry, with easy cognac notes, but well balanced with smooth chocolate and light woody notes. There is a gentle tartness towards the aft. Quite indulgent and rich, with a vinous mouthfeel. The alcohol is very well hidden. Very nice.

Really not sure what to think on this one. First sip is a banger for a nailed on 5, but found it a bit of an assault on the senses thereafter. If it had been a tad sweeter it would have been 4 plus all day long.

The cherry is real in this one! Incredible first half of the beer, very much on track for a 5, but got a little sickly thereafter. As a 1/3 or half it’s a 5 all day, but the bottle has caused it to be too much! Still stunning.
