Sometimes Cold Calling pays off… sometimes it doesn’t.
This sour red base was fermented with the dregs from 5 different bottles of sour beer. Crafted for fermentability, this red finishes dry, yet has a malt backbone to hold up to the tartness produced by the lactobacillus. Fermented with a grab bag of yeast and bacteria there are notes of Black Cherry, Sour Grapes, and it finishes with a flavor throw back of Sweet Tarts. Show Less
