Holiday Slay

Holiday Slay has such a better ring to it than mandatory work holiday party, right? Holiday Slay originated as the name for the annual end of the year holiday bash that our friends Old Blood Noise Endeavors would throw. The VHBC crew adopted the name for our collaboration stout we brewed with them for the OKC FX Pedal Pop Up in 2019, and decided we had to bring it back just in time for Christmas this year. OBNE creates some of the raddest effect pedals for guitars and other instruments, and they’re located in Norman, Oklahoma.
Holiday Slay is an Imperial Stout spiced with cinnamon, chili peppers, & aged on vanilla beans. This beer is saturated with notes of rich vanilla, cinnamon, & dark chocolate while the chili’s remain in the background. As the beer warms up the chilis and cinnamon become more present in flavor and in the aromatics. This beer carries a full body, and will leave asking for more.
