Doesn't feel quite right to me. Low fizz, good 'brown' fruits and funky but there's a distinct lack of intensity. From memory had this at Blobfish in July and was much more impressive.

Perhaps you gave me the wrong (right) bottle Chris M. Liking it more than you. Looks like slightly murky black tea. Low carbonation, little if any lace. Quite delicate in flavour, berries, cherry, low acidity with a bit of a fatty round finish. Good buy.

Bottle number 2. Now 6 years since bottling, but blended with past vintages. Now tending to a maroon-brown. Amazingly very light. Classic balsamic acidity without the huge mouth picker of some. Cranberries, pomegranate molasses & morello cherry. Superb.

Reminds me of Roadrunner Coyote cartoons where theres a cliff ledge, canyon then another cliff ledge. Firmly solid at both ends but a giant drop in the middle.
