The red wine barrel aging really gives it a barleywine-like flavour. Sourness, a tiny pinch of salt at the start. Full bodied, a little dry even. Reminds me of Y Not Brewing beers in terms of liqoury characteristics.

Expected no less from Ugar, another amazing barrel aged brew, can taste their Sahti in there with some sweet, dry, rounded red wine notes, a bit of oily mouthfeel to coat everything with it's beauty.
