Definitely not a traditional brown in the least. More amber than brown. But, the heirloom malts shine with complexity. It’s like a really good seeded whole grain bread. But I do want more sweetness, it’s quite dry w/ a firm bitterness. Interesting take.

This brown ale is somewhat interesting because it is a little hoppy which took me by surprise. Finishes somewhat nutty and roasty. Has a slight bitterness to it that I don’t hate. Decent malty flavor. The aroma is very nutty.
